Operation Vijay- "TADA trip"

If I would be asked to write some one liners for life at this point of time then my pick would be this- "Life is just one damned thing after another". My recent experience in TADA trip( a place not so famous but still charmed by people in and around chennai for its waterfall and trek) where the sequence of events truly depicted that life journey is no smooth. Nothing had gone according to the plan right from starting. Since the place was 3 hrs away from chennai We( 'Tom' alias Ashish, 'Katni' alias mayank, 'Billu' alias Vaibhav, Sumit, Saurabh, Abhishek) planned to start at sometime between 5-6 in morning but thanks to last night booze adventures of few of us we managed to start at 7.30AM. So with 3 bikes( two FZ16s and one pulsar), six bags and 6 souls to reinvent ourselves we started our journey. Before we had covered some distance billu was caught by a traffic police for crossing the signal which he was telling he didnt. Also since he was riding without proper Numberplate, policeman got his best chances to open his morning account!!! after this small abbretion we thought of taking Breakfast in sowcarpet in chennai which is famous for Rajasthani delicacies but thanks to our luck no shop was open at that time. Some small gujarati shop came to our rescue and finally we had FAFDA's before we started our endevour to NH5 which connects chennai to TADA!!!
What happened after all this will never be forgotten by us!! Everything was going smooth and fine till we reached TADA town. Since the waterfall was still 20-25 kms away we thought of taking our lunch in a north Indian dhaba there("Luck by Chance") . We 4 guys (except billu and sumit) were waiting for them to come so that we can quench our hunger with all typical dhaba stuffs. After waiting for 15 mins we called them to know their whereabouts and to our surprise found that they met with an ACCIDENT!!!!!
We all rushed to the spot and found them bleeding with locals sorrounding them and offering water and suggestions. Immediately we took them to a nearby Govt. hospital ( here our luck has taken a U turn as we got it just 2 Kms away). After the dress up and painful but much needed injections given to them, we went back to the same dhaba where we planned our lunch before. We ordered stuffs like tadka dal, aloo mutter and butter-milk and found it quit tasty and satisfying. Now everyone was pondering over the thought of continuing the trip so with some discussion and mutual agreement( infact only Katni was persuading us to continue) we decided to take on the challenge and continue the trip. So its already 1 PM and we were still 1 hr away from the actual destination but we had made our mind that we will not head back and continue our trip and called it "Operation Vijay". It was tough ride out there in noon with all of us sweating badly and suffering from headache and pain in back. We kept on driving and after sometime we realized that we had crossed the way to TADA falls by more than 20KMs. We went back and found the way to falls. When we were still 4 kms away from the destination we treded again to a WRONG path(We couldnt be blamed for this as there was no board, no person to tell us the correct way). But this path was a bit challenging and fun (how often one gets a chance to ride a bike in a water stream filled with big boulders and pebbles). All the bikers:) enjoyed that ride and after reaching the dead end we again came back and took the correct turn this time. So with all this fun and frolic with luck(good as well as bad) we finally reached the place where we parked our bikes and started enjoying the way to waterfall.
Throughout the walk into the woods we all were searching for some cool and lonely place in the water stream as it was 3 PM with sun showing its full colors and everyone of us was exhausted badly. After walking some distance we did found a place of our likes and thrown ourselves( except the accident victims!!!) in the crystal clear water full of fishes. Billu( one among the injured) didnt waited for long and came with us. But how can we forget that he was the common factor in all the events happened with us before and so here also to his bad luck he slipped into the water. He didnt got injured further but lost his spectacles in the water which I found after some time!!! We continued there till 5 like this with Katni and billu in full flow playing jokes on others.
People might think that we could have avoided all this misfortunes and bad luck if we could have returned back right after the accident but we could have also missed the chance of exploring the unexplored and the memories of the same which we all will cherish for long. somebody had said long back that "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails.Explore. Dream. Discover". And this is what my take on life after TADA vijay!!!!!!!!!!!
